Storage methods for unopened cartridges:

If you do not need to use the cartridge, do not open the packaging to preserve the cartridge as long as possible. The cartridge must be used at the temperature indicated on the packaging; too low or too high a temperature may affect its performance.

Methods for storing opened cartridges:

Install the opened cartridge in the printer as soon as possible. If you need to store it outside the printer, place it in a plastic bucket with a tight-fitting lid and add a damp towel. Some genuine cartridges have an orange protective cover. If this protective cover is open, replace it before storing. Avoid using a plastic bag for storage to prevent contact with the cartridge nozzles.

Printer Maintenance:

Maintain your printer regularly. Not printing for a long period of time can cause nozzle clogs. Printing regularly can prevent these clogs and reduce the amount of ink used to clean cartridges, thus lowering printing costs.

It is recommended to leave the printer turned on at all times. This allows the printer to automatically keep the cartridges in good condition, reducing the risk of nozzle dryness and clogging. Power consumption in standby mode is very low. If you need to turn off the printer, use the power button to turn it off. Unplug the power after the power light goes out, which allows the cartridges to move to the protective position and cover the nozzles, thus delaying the ink drying out.

Precautions:

High summer temperatures accelerate ink evaporation from the cartridge nozzles. Avoid exposing the printer and cartridges to direct sunlight as much as possible, and reduce their exposure to hot environments.
