The lifespan of compatible CANON 520/521XL cartridges depends on several factors, such as the print volume and the type of documents printed. In general, our compatible CANON 520/521XL cartridges can print up to 324 pages in black and white (550xl) and up to 450 color pages (551xl). Our compatible CANON 520/521XL ink cartridges do not have an expiration date: they must be kept away from heat, humidity and light while still in their packaging. If you will not be using your printer for several months, we strongly recommend that you clean the nozzle heads (or deep clean) + align your device to allow proper ink flow.
